Our Norway spruce-style trees have a natural shape and strong traditional fragrance that really makes your home smell "Christmassy!" These are the same type of tree we grew up with in the Cotswolds, in England.
The strong, upward slanting branches of this species are ideal for hanging heavier decorations and lights. The needles are short and thin, a green to light green colour. This species of tree does shed needles, although leaving some roots intact (if possible) and providing the tree with water mitigates this.

*The Norway spruce-style trees arrive natural, unclipped (the way we like them), fully and neatly wrapped up, with a small bundle of roots. They are very easily mounted in a pot (you may need to prepare earth yourself) or a tree stand. A high pot such as a dragon pot works nicely since this species of tree is generally light on branches at the very bottom. Carefully cut open the packaging with a pair of scissors and gently bend down the bases of the branches. Should you wish to shape the tree, it's easy to trim with scissors *
